FORGED IN NEON | TOP TRAX 1804

I know I say this every single time I publish a Top Trax List but this time I have some absolute gems for you to blast loud. They're so good this week anyone could have clinched the TOP TRAX hot spot but I'm sure you'll like who I've chosen nonetheless.

In an effort to hopefully increase subs on Artists respective You Tube Channels if any new track is accompanied by a video I'll post that to! Be sure to sub to their channel to get all the latest releases!! Also tap the pics next to the reviews to get straight to that track you like!

FRANK REDUX | ENDLESS

Every so often for a track that quite simply blows me away I promote it under the 'Forged in Neon Recommends...' moniker and this month this very track got this treatment. It's masterfully produced with shades of outrun and I simply love it. I expect this track to adorn the playlists for anyone who is serious about Synth as it should. It's a fantastic follow up to his single 'Hi-Tech' and without doubt one for those night drives, PLAY IT LOUD

LAST SURVIVOR | WHAT IT COULD HAVE BEEN

This track is as addictive a listen as you're likely to hear. It would be equally at home given radio airplay as it would being blasted about the events spaces the world over! Their bio reads: When the likes of Depeche Mode & Daft Punk commission you to do remixes for them & you collaborate with Robert Smith from The Cure or even Morgan Kibby from M83, its bound to rub off! They're not wrong!

RAY GUN HERO | SKYLINE

Amidst the smoking ruins of twisted metal and rain soaked neon lit alleyways rises a track that's so full of intent and purpose you cannot ignore it. Purists of the Cyber-synth genre will applaud what Ray Gun Hero has done here in making this sound as fresh and unique as only he can. I must admit on hearing this entire EP it was an insta-buy for me. The titular track 'Skyline' is a total and utter vibe from the start and a track I'm hoping you'll love to!

JEREMIAH KANE | WILD CHILD

This track kicks your front door in, pushes you to the floor, french kisses your woman, raids the fridge for snacks & grabs the keys to your prized Pontiac but not before it does donuts on your freshly mowed lawn as it speeds off into the sunset! It's kicking shit, taking names & you're on the list! Balls to the wall Synth metal as J Kane ESQ knows how & Julian Larre from 'Lacrimas Profundere' slays the vocal! Just awesome!

BMX ESCAPE | BROKEN HEARTS

BMX Escape does it again in a stone cold retrowave track that will have you singing into that hairbrush before long. It's as radio friendly as you're likely to hear and wouldn't feel out of place at all on a Top 40 in 1985. The narrative of this track deals with the heartbreak of loss but doesn't at all feel like a sullen lament with the punchy synths and rifts. The vocal is incredible, with the whole track carried by Justin Moore, sublime stuff!

LUXE & LEISURE | PENTHOUSE VIEWS

.......and relax! The smooth sounds of this dreamlike trio abound in another breath-taking number called 'Penthouse Views'. There's no doubting that their music resides in pure and simple escapism. Clean, methodical beats with sounds that come at you like waves lapping on a sun drenched shore. Your mind wanders to palm lined isles and cool coloured cocktails as it should! Glorious!

THE MIDNIGHT | CHANGE YOUR HEART OR DIE

Another incredible track drenched in 80's rock that you cannot help but vibe to. Shades of the 80's hit 'Owner of a Lonely Heart' by YES in the Guitar rifts and it's as glamtastic as it gets and I love it! It packs some serious heat and certainly pays homage to the those 80's hair rock days of yore. It's an undoubted change from earlier tracks but I'm loving the amp diving, axe wrecking side to these guys! Bring it!

DEFAULT MODE NETWORK | 2086 A.D

D.F.M comes right out of the gate with an absolutely awesome Album '2086 A.D' released by the Synth Label juggernauts that are Rosso Corsa Records. Track I've chosen to showcase is the titular track off the new release called yep you guessed it '2086 A.D' and it's just sublime to listen to. Shades of 80's breakbeats and classic retrowave sounds blend together to make a track that's so profoundly danceable it'll take all your resolve to stay seated!

Some more tracks to be posted next week in the meantime support your favourite Artists and share their work. YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
